| Julie Aigner-Clark, Founder and Creative Consultant
Julie started The Baby Einstein Company when she discovered that there were no age-appropriate products available to help her share her love of art, classical music, language and poetry with her daughter. Combining classical music and simple, colourful, real-world images in an entertaining way, Julie shot the first Baby Einstein video in her home. Without complicated characters and storylines, the video was created to be an interactive product that babies and parents could enjoy together. “Parent-to-parent” word-of-mouth travelled fast and Julie gradually extended beyond videos and developed a suite of complementary products including books, discovery cards and audio CDs. Today, The Baby Einstein Company has become a world leader in infant developmental media products and was acquired by The Walt Disney Company in November 2001. “I love what I do,” said Julie. “I’m making babies smile and giving parents fun ways to interact with their children. What could be better than that?” For more information, please contact Sarah.Brennan@disney.com. |
