How We Were “Conceived”
The Baby Einstein Company was founded by a new mum and former teacher of art and literature.She discovered that there were no products available specifically to enrich the play experience between her and her baby daughter. So in order to share her love of art, classical music, language and poetry with her daughter, she created Baby Einstein.

Combining her experiences of teaching and as a new mum, she created a collection of videos, using a mixture of puppets, real-world objects and playful sound effects, purposely made from a baby’s perspective.

The company grew as one mum told another mum, and another mum, and so on. This word of mouth increased demand for new videos, so she introduced more lovable characters and themes of music, colour and shapes.

Our Products
Available nationwide in Baby Stores, selected Book Stores, Toy Stores, Pharmacies, Gift Stores and Newsagents are a collection of videos on VHS and DVD, books and music CDs. All the videos and DVDs provide numerous ways to spend time with your baby while introducing him or her to new words and concepts through music, sound and engaging visuals.

While new products will become available during 2004 and beyond, the existing collection is still "new" for babies and parents alike.
